Everything begins with a drawing. That hasn't changed in twenty years.
I'm Si Scott. I spent two decades making hand-drawn typography and illustration for brands including Nike, Adidas, Coca-Cola and Audi, working in ink on paper long after most of the industry moved on from it. Tattooing is the same practice with a different surface.
I work in illustrative blackwork out of Leeds, and I travel for guest spots across the UK and Europe. Every piece is drawn for the person wearing it and never repeated, with the single exception of my flash.

How it works

Enquiry
You send the idea, the placement and rough size. Reference is welcome; a fully finished design from someone else is not.

Drawing
I draw it by hand for you. You see the design before the needle goes anywhere near skin, and small changes are part of the process.
03
Tattoo
One session where possible, staged across a few where the piece needs it. Aftercare goes home with you in writing.
